College Counseling
Regina's Counseling Center provides post-high school planning experiences for all students by guiding them in exploring, defining and applying knowledge and skills that prepare them for higher education. Students are guided throughout the college search process with personalized attention and are encouraged to explore specific colleges, careers and occupations by using many resources available at Regina.
Full time college counselors meet with all students and their parents in the spring of junior year. Students partic ipate in individual career/college planning sessions. Seminars before and after school continue guiding college choice and the application process. A series of workshops, "Lunch-Time Learning," includes topics such as, career planning, budgeting, financial investment, ACT test preparation, and the college application process. Additional information is obtained through Discover a computer-based career planning tool.
