Academic Counseling

At Regina, enthusiastic, caring and knowledgeable guidance counselors provide support to maximize each student's potential and academic achievement. We help students discover values, abilities and talents to prepare a student for the future.

We personalize the educational experience by systematically providing opportunities for ongoing interaction between a student and her counselor. We assist in course selection and monitor academic progress toward graduation, encouraging each student to develop her maximum potential. Each counselor observes and encourages a student's academic progress through attention to referrals, progress reports and special testing. As a result, a student's counselor becomes familiar with her academic needs, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, goals and ambitions. Through individual counseling and group guidance, the student becomes known, cared for and valued.
