National Forensics League

Purpose:

  • Recognizes the accomplishments of students who have participated in extra-curricular speech and debate competitions.
 

Qualifications:

  • Academic excellence in speech and outstanding character and service
 

Events and Activities:

  • In addition to local CCFL and IHSA competitions, students are eligible to participate in the annual regional NFL tournament. Qualifiers advance to national level competition.
 

Moderator:

  • Susan Valentino
 
 

Team Captains serve as NFL officers:

  • TEAM CAPTAIN
  • STUDENT CONGRESS CAPTAIN
  • VARSITY IE CAPTAINS
  • JV CAPTAIN
 

General Information:

  • Points are earned through participation in speech competitions
