National Art Honor Society

Purpose:

  • The National Art Honor Society strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of the highest standards in art areas and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.
 

Qualifications:

  • Academic excellence in Art (with at least 2 semesters of Art) and outstanding character and service. Students are asked to join the National Art Honors Society and are expected to take their responsibilities seriously.
 

Events and Activities:

  • 2006-2007 - School Year: Painting a Mural in the Art Room Participation in various contests Spring service Project Will also be responsible for helping with various Art Club activities

Officers are elected yearly. Positions include:

General Information

  • Makes posters for school organizations. Has Art Exhibits at school functions. Take place once a month – typically the 3 rd Thursday of every month - unless otherwise advised. (Will meet more often if projects require)
