Tuition Assistance
Sponsored aid is available to students based on need. All student families may apply. Students who take the Entrance Exam at Regina Dominican High School receive first priority. Regina Dominican High School traditionally offers over a quarter of a million dollars annually in sponsored aid. APPLYING FOR SPONSORED AID*
Our sponsored aid application packet contains all the forms needed to apply for financial assistance. These include the PSAS form (which is available in hard copy from the school, or click here to access a printable form online), the Personal Information Form (which allows you to explain non-financial factors affecting your need for financial aid), and the Patricia Astor Gomez Foundation Scholarship application (a private scholarship available to Regina students).
The PSAS form must be submitted to Private School Aid Service, P.O. Box 89434, Cleveland, OH 44101-6434, by January 31, 2013. You may send the PSAS form after January 31, 2013 and it will be processed, but there is no guarantee that sponsored aid will still be available. No request for financial assistance can be considered without this form being processed.
The Personal Information Form must be submitted to Regina Dominican High School, Attn: Daniel Roche, 701 Locust Road, Wilmette, IL 60091, by January 31, 2013. You may send the Personal Information form after January 31, 2013, and it will be processed, but there is no guarantee that sponsored aid will still be available.
The Patricia Astor Gomez Foundation Scholarship Application must be submitted by January 31, 2013.
Letters will be mailed in late March or early April of 2013 notifying families who will be offered sponsored aid.
Incoming Freshmen:
Forms will be distributed on the day of the Entrance Exam.
Incoming New Students (not Freshmen):
Forms will be distributed when the family comes in for the interview.
Returning Students:
Those receiving sponsored aid in the current school year will automatically be sent new forms for next year. If you are applying for the first time, please contact the Finance Office for the forms.
* Please note that current Regina Dominican High School policy caps financial aid at 50% of a full year's tuition.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Regina awards six Catherine of Siena merit-based partial scholarships to incoming freshmen who achieve the highest score on the Entrance Exam taken at Regina Dominican High School. Smaller Catherine of Siena scholarships may also be awarded to students who reach at or above a certain percentile on the entrance exam.
