Students may gain additional skill and experience (and have some fun) by participating in these clubs, competitive events and major performances.


COMPETITIVE FORENSICS—STUDENT CONGRESS

Purpose

Combines skills of communication, interpretation, performance, argumentation and persuasion

Events and Activities

Student Congress focuses on research and persuasive speech in mock-Congress tournaments with other schools.

Meeting Dates

Competition takes place from October to March
Qualifiers can compete in national competitions, which take place at the end of the academic year.

Appointed yearly. Positions include Captain and Bill Editor.

General Information

Regina competes in Chicago Catholic Forensic League tournaments. Qualifiers advance to the National Catholic Forensic League Grand National Tournament.

General Information

For decades, Regina has had one of the best and strongest forensics teams in Chicagoland. Every year Regina sends some of its top competitors to the National Catholic Forensics League’s Grand National Tournament, where members compete against the best and brightest high school students from across the country. Regina students compete in both the Chicago Catholic Forensics League (CCFL), the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), and the National Forensics League (NFL).
