Purpose
Promote interest and excellence in mathematics for young women.

Open to students demonstrating high achievement in Mathematics
Events and Activities
- Participate in the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics Regional Competition at Northeastern Illinois University in February
- Participate in the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics State Competiiton at the University of Ilinois in April

General Information
- Mathletes meet after school on Thursdays from October through April to practice for the Regional and State competitions
- First year students compete in the algebra I competition
- Sophomores compete in the geometry competition
- Juniors compete in the algebra II competition
- Seniors compete in the pre-calculus competition
- In addition, there are two-person competitions, eight-person competitions, a five-person calculator team, and an orals team
WORLDWIDE YOUTH IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (WYSE) 
Purpose
Encourage young women to continue their education in the Sciences
Roles and Responsibilities
Open to students with interests in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics and physics
Events and Activities
Four major testing events – Qualifying in January, Regionals in February, Sectionals in March, State in April

COMPETITIVE FORENSICS—STUDENT CONGRESS 
Purpose
Combines skills of communication, interpretation, performance, argumentation and persuasion
Events and Activities
Student Congress focuses on research and persuasive speech in mock-Congress tournaments with other schools.
Meeting Dates
Competition takes place from October to March
Qualifiers can compete in national competitions, which take place at the end of the academic year.

General Information
Regina competes in Chicago Catholic Forensic League tournaments. Qualifiers advance to the National Catholic Forensic League Grand National Tournament.

General Information
For decades, Regina has had one of the best and strongest forensics teams in Chicagoland. Every year Regina sends some of its top competitors to the National Catholic Forensics League’s Grand National Tournament, where members compete against the best and brightest high school students from across the country. Regina students compete in both the Chicago Catholic Forensics League (CCFL), the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), and the National Forensics League (NFL).
