Theology
The Theology Department embodies the mission of the Church and is specifically guided by the Adrian Dominican mission of the education of young women in the pursuit of truth and justice.
Students integrate scholarship and Christian practice through course offerings that provide them with opportunities to understand their faith. Classes explore Christian beliefs, Scripture, church history, sacraments, personal and social ethics, comparative religions, philosophy, and spirituality.
The unique spiritual and emotional development of women, in addition to the contributions of women in religion and society, permeate the Theology curriculum.
