Course Offerings in Social Studies
The Social Studies Department cultivates the growth of responsible and informed young women whose decisions are based on Christian values. They are prepared to experience the love of truth, an appreciation of justice and are motivated to carry out their responsibility to the local, national, and global community.
Mindful of interdependence in today's technological world the Social Studies Faculty focuses attention on the diversity of cultures, political and economic systems and the historical development of the world community.
The department challenges the student to meet and adapt to the changes modern conditions demand, and encourages her to seek with creative imagination those solutions which are consistent with the principles inherent in our democracy.
