THE STUDENTS SPEAK OUT
When I started school I wasn't really sure where I fit in. Going to Regina has not only allowed me to realize my true strengths, but it's a place where I've made some life long friendships.

Social Studies

Personal responsibility is the foundation of our free society and reflects the work of many people and institutions. Social studies presents a unique opportunity to inculcate those attitudes and values, knowledge and skills which are essential to our pluralistic society.

Mindful of interdependence in today's technological world the Social Studies Faculty focuses attention on the diversity of cultures, political and economic systems and the historical development of the world community.

The department challenges the student to meet and adapt to the changes modern conditions demand, and encourages her to seek with creative imagination those solutions which are consistent with the principles inherent in our democracy.

As a part of the Community of Regina Dominican, the Social Studies Department endeavors to cultivate the growth of knowledgeable and responsible students whose decisions are based on Christian values.
