Science
The study of Science is essential in the development of intellectual curiosity and analytical thinking. It is imperative that students develop skill in all of the sciences, as our world becomes more and more technology-based.
Therefore, Science is taught as a process and as a body of knowledge about both the living and the physical world. The Science Department at Regina uses a laboratory approach to science education that involves each student in the process of discovery. This approach enables students to engage in analytical problem solving.
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Science Department offers courses at appropriate developmental levels to prepare young women for the roles they will pursue in future endeavors. Each Science course integrates critical thinking, decision making and computer technology.
The Science Department's purpose is to provide academic experience through information and skill development. It lays the scientific foundation that prepares students to be thinkers and leaders of the next generation.
