Size Matters
Small School - what does it mean and why does it matter?
Is it size of the student body? Regina's enrollment ranges from 420 to 450, depending on the school year. That's small by most standards.
Studies show small schools do better in:
- Academic Achievement - overall student achievement is higher.
- Personal Attention - learning is personalized. Teachers adapt to meet needs of each student.
- Extra-Curricular Activities - every one can join.
- Student Health and Safety - students engage in healthier behavior and have lower rates of substance abuse, violence and other risky activities.
- Parent Involvement - parent involvement is welcome and encouraged.
Students “feel connected”. And that's where Regina has excelled for nearly 50 years.
We ensure our students feel connected by:
- Providing each student with personal attention - in the classroom and all areas of student life.
- Building close relationships with each student.
- Focusing on student well-being - academically, physically and emotionally.
At Regina, our young women succeed because they feel they belong.
